This Privacy Policy applies to the ThinkFast mobile application
("Application"), available on iOS and Android, developed by the ThinkFast
Team. By using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of
information in accordance with this policy.
Information Collection and Use
The Application may collect certain information automatically when you
download and use it, including:
- Your device's IP address and device model
- Usage data (puzzles played, completion times, scores, session duration)
- App settings and preferences
- Operating system version (iOS / Android)
- Crash reports and diagnostic data for app stability

What We Collect
- Puzzle results, completion times, and crown scores
- Difficulty preferences (Standard / Hard) and puzzle history
- Streak data, XP, level progress, and daily challenge completion
- Profile information (display name, avatar initial, rank tier)
- Subscription and account information
- Feedback or support messages you send us
How We Use This Data
- To track your streaks, XP, levels, and daily challenge progress
- To calculate your rating, global rank, and leaderboard position
- To store and display your puzzle history and best scores
- To generate your daily challenge and recommend puzzles
- To troubleshoot technical issues and improve app performance
- To analyze usage patterns and enhance the puzzle experience
- To process and manage your subscription
Your Progress & Stats
Your Data Is Respected: We take your progress seriously. Your stats and activity are:
- Encrypted in transit and at rest
- Never sold to third parties
- Only shown publicly on the leaderboard as your chosen display name and rating
- Used only to power your personal ThinkFast experience within the app
- Deletable at any time through the app settings or by contacting support
- Stored securely with industry-standard encryption
Leaderboard & Public Profile
How the Leaderboard Works:
- Your display name, rating, rank tier (e.g. Platinum), and global rank may be visible to other users on the Leaderboard
- Match counts and rating history are used to calculate your position
- You may change your display name at any time in Profile settings
- We do not display your email address, device information, or photos on the Leaderboard
- Any server-side processing of leaderboard data is encrypted and performed on secure infrastructure
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services to help operate and improve the application.
These services may have access to anonymized or aggregated data only.
The Application uses the following third-party services:
- RevenueCat (for subscription management on iOS and Android)
- Apple Analytics / Firebase (for app performance monitoring)
- Crashlytics (for stability reporting and bug tracking)
- Cloud Storage Services (for progress and leaderboard sync)
Platform-Specific Information
iOS (Apple App Store)
- Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID and App Store account
- Apple may collect diagnostic and usage data in accordance with their own privacy policy
- iCloud backup may include app data if enabled on your device
Android (Google Play Store)
- Subscriptions are managed through your Google account and Google Play
- Google may collect diagnostic and usage data in accordance with their own privacy policy
- Google Drive backup may include app data if enabled on your device
Data Storage and Security
Local & Cloud Storage
- Your progress, streaks, and preferences are stored locally on your device and optionally synced to the cloud for backup.
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
- All data transmissions are encrypted using industry-standard protocols (TLS 1.3).
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized
access, alteration, or destruction. This includes encryption, secure
servers, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method
of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee
absolute security.
Opt-Out Rights
You may stop data collection at any time by:
- Uninstalling the application from your device
- Requesting account and data deletion via support (email below)
- Disabling analytics in the app settings
- Opting out of the public Leaderboard within Profile settings
Data Retention
We retain user data as long as you use the app and maintain an active
account. If you delete the app, local data is removed from your device. You
can request complete deletion of any cloud-synced data by contacting
support. Streak, XP, and puzzle history remain stored until you explicitly
delete them or request account deletion. Subscription data is retained by
the App Store or Google Play provider for billing history in accordance
with their policies.
Age Restrictions
Age Requirement: This app is intended for users aged 13
and older (or the minimum age required by law in your country). We do not
knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under
13. If you believe a minor under 13 has provided us with personal
information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete
such information.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access to your personal data, puzzle history, and stats
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your data (including streaks, XP, and leaderboard entry)
- Objection to data processing
- Data portability (export your puzzle history)
- Restriction of processing

International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your
own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in
accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what
personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information,
and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell
personal information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in
our practices or for legal reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page
with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy
periodically. For significant changes affecting your data, we will notify
you through the app or via email.
